Service agreement

The JS Imaging Service Agreement governs the project. The website, estimator, pricing sheet and viewer tools explain the offer; they do not change the signed agreement. A later website update does not amend an executed agreement.

Booking and cancellation

A 30% deposit of the confirmed project price is required to reserve the work and is credited to the total.

No booking is confirmed until JS Imaging accepts, the service agreement and required limitations acknowledgment are signed, and the deposit clears. Estimate requests alone do not reserve a date.

Cancellation charges and refunds follow section 4 of the service agreement. The deposit is applied to work performed, noncancelable commitments and reasonable documented reservation losses; excess is returned after final accounting. If JS Imaging cancels for its own convenience, unearned payments are refunded under that section. Weather and operating restrictions may require rescheduling.

Payment and business discretion

The balance is due within 15 calendar days of invoice. Undisputed past-due principal accrues simple interest at 0.75% per month (9% annually), or the lawful maximum if lower. Collections may follow once an undisputed balance is at least 30 days past due and a final written notice has allowed at least 10 days to pay.

JS Imaging may decline or refuse business at its discretion for any lawful reason and retains operational control of flights.

Files and viewer access

Only files and formats expressly listed in the signed project order are included. Raw images, editable project files and specialized exports are excluded unless listed.

Viewer access lasts for the period selected in the project order. Continued hosting is $75 per month only with written authorization; updates cost extra. Download agreed exports before access ends.

Estimates and professional reliance

NOT A SURVEY. All measurements, annotations and quantities are estimates for visual reference and preliminary discussion; independent field verification is required. No positional accuracy or survey-grade performance is claimed. Not for boundaries, engineering, design, bidding, permitting or construction.

Regulated surveying work requires the separately signed professional scope, direct supervision and control, defined control/checkpoints, review and acceptance, and the responsible licensed professional’s required signed and sealed deliverable. Later review alone does not authorize regulated reliance.

Every client must sign the limitations acknowledgment on page 4. A licensed workflow also requires its separate signed professional scope before that work begins.

Processing and thermal documentation

Processing quality summary: software metrics and project limitations, not an accuracy certification or a survey. Independent checkpoint results appear only when included in the signed scope.

Thermal is screening and visual documentation, not diagnosis. Palette-derived differences are visual estimates. Radiometric results are estimates of apparent surface temperature under recorded settings. Suspected conditions require appropriate independent field inspection.
